I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Baileywick Elementary! I am an advocate for students, teachers, families, and schools, and value building strong relationships and social-emotional learning!

I was born in Hampton, VA and lived in Roanoke, VA for 10 years before moving down to Raleigh in 2004. I am a true Wolfpacker as I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from NC State and began teaching in WCPSS. I returned to NC State to earn my Master of School Administration degree, and started working as an Assistant Principal. In my seventh year as an Assistant Principal, I am finishing my Doctor of Education degree, also from NC State, and hope to graduate this school year!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Josh, and our dogs Wyatt and Leia.
