Hi! I'm so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher! I live in Willow Spring with my husband and our five amazing kids. This is my fourth year teaching, and I've taught both 2nd and 3rd grade, as well as in ECS. I recently earned my Master's degree from Campbell University. I love the beach, laughter, read-alouds, and teaching science! My goal is for every child to feel welcomed, included, and loved in our classroom. I believe learning should be fun and full of wonder, and I encourage my students to be curious, explore, and enjoy the journey of learning.

Hello! I’m so excited to start a new adventure in my teaching career at Bowling Road Elementary. I have taught 4th grade for 15 years and 2nd grade for 5 years. I grew up in Massachusetts and moved to North Carolina in 2004. I love this area, especially the weather! I received my Masters degree at NCSU in Special Education. I'm a busy mom to an amazing 15-year-old who will be entering her sophomore year at Felton Grove High School. In my free time, I like to exercise, read, and spend time with my daughter, friends & family. I look forward to an amazing year full of new experiences and the opportunity to meet new people at Bowling Road Elementary!

I am super-excited to help open Bowling Road Elementary for my 24th year of teaching! I am a National Board Certified Teacher with a Master's degree focusing on Reading Education. I attended Campbell University receiving degrees in Elementary Education, Biology, and Chemistry. I really enjoy science and tend to include many discovery-oriented activities in my lessons. I live in Fuquay Varina with my husband, two awesome kids, and several pets.
I set high expectations for my students and have found students will grow to meet these expectations, but I also believe learning should be fun! Therefore, much of our learning happens through hands-on experiences, providing opportunities for students to work together and interact socially. My favorite part of teaching is the amazing amount of growth students make in just one year!
