• WALKERS

We at Lynn Road care deeply about the educational success of our students. We care even more for the safety of our students while coming to school, during school, and departing from school. Moving forward, we are no longer allowing parents to park and walk to the door to drop off or pick up students.

You must live within walking distance (1.5 miles) of the school and walk home, not to your vehicle, to be a Lynn Road walker. Parents may not pick up walkers in vehicles.  If you are going to pick up your child in a vehicle, you MUST use the carpool line.

Our Lynn Road Parking Lot is extremely busy during drop off and pick up. Having to stop the flow to allow walkers to cross the street back to your vehicle delays the process. This year we are requiring parents or an approved adult to meet their children at the walker door behind the gym. Parents and guardians will need to show their walker pass for each child to the staff member on duty. Then use the path next to the playground to walk home. If you do not have a walker pass, you will be asked to return to your car and go thru the carpool line.
