• Kindergarten Enrollment & Information

    If you have a rising Kindergarten student and have not yet enrolled, please do so as soon as possible. Begin the enrollment process online at the New Student Enrollment site, then bring the required documents to your current (2021-2022) base school. Please spread the word to any neighbors to whom this may apply! 

  • Kindergarten Staggered Entry

    Sign Up for your Kindergartner’s Staggered Entry Day here. 

    WCPSS Kindergarten students attend their staggered entry day with a smaller number of children to allow them to get to know the building, the Kindergarten teachers, and a few potential classmates.  Throughout the day, teachers will complete a few assessments with each student to help us to get to know students academically and socially, with the goal of then creating balanced classes. 

    • Kindergartners will attend only one day of school from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM on either August 29, 30, or 31.  Parents will drop off students at 9:30 in the Media Center where we will have a brief information session before escorting students to the Kindergarten classrooms.
    • Families will receive their teacher assignment via email on Thursday, September 1st. 
    • Kindergarten Open House is scheduled on Thursday, September 1st, from 4:30-6:30. Parents and students will be able to visit their classroom, meet their assigned teacher, and drop off supplies. 
    • All Kindergarten students will begin full-time on Tuesday, September 6th.
