Hello 5th grade families! My name is Mrs. Chelsea Hoag and I am so excited to learn and grow alongside your sweet kiddos. I was born and raised in Lexington, NC and I graduated from West Davidson High School in 2008. I then attended Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2012 and played on the women's volleyball team. Go Bears! 

Currently I reside in Wake Forest with my husband, Cody, and our two sons, Landon and Jordy. In my spare time I enjoy cheering on the Wolfpack and the Packers with my boys, traveling to new places, going on hikes, baking cookies, and crafting. 

This school year will be my tenth year as an educator and my first year as a Lead Mine Leopard. During my career I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grade. What I love most about my profession is having the opportunity to serve as a mentor to my students and facilitate their growth. I look forward to meeting and building a relationship with your child!
