I’m from Point Pleasant, NJ where I spent my childhood bike riding to the beach. I went to Eastern University to receive my BA and decided to pursue school counseling soon after. Working with children has always been my goal and once I learned everything a school counselor does, I knew that was the job for me! I applied to The College of New Jersey and earned my MA in Counseling in 2018, and then married my husband a month later - in a barn in 97 degree weather!
We moved to South Raleigh in August 2019 with our 2 cats. I am definitely a crazy animal lady! I’m a vegetarian and my dream is to foster kittens and cats. I even want to own a farm one day. I love to do anything creative, am always in the middle of a book, and love to get out in nature as often as possible.
I began working at Lead Mine Elementary in February 2020 and am so happy to be working with the staff, students, and families. Being able to help children and watch them grow is the best part of my job & I feel very lucky to be able to do so at Lead Mine!
