Hi! My name is Cammie Viverette and I am part time AIG and part time intervention at Vandora Springs Elementary School. I have been at the school for over five years and live in Holly Springs. I have been teaching AIG for thirteen years and taught part time at Wake Tech for about ten years. I am married and have three children. Tyler is a senior and our twins are in 7th grade in Holly Springs. I really enjoy walking, going to visit my family in Atlantic Beach, and attending my children's activities! This is my 18th year of teaching and my 14th year at Vandora. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grades and now I am the Instructional Facilitator and the Intervention Facilitator. I love being able to help teachers and students all across the school. I have an amazing 4th grade daughter and wonderful husband of 20 years. We also have 2 fun and crazy dogs.

I have been teaching at Vandora Springs Elementary since 2015. I am a part time literacy intervention teacher. I have been in education for quite a while. In fact, this year will make 42 years of teaching children! I’ve done it all and seen it all! That’s why I just can’t seem to give it up! I graduated from Meredith College with a BA in Elementary Education. I am married to David and have 4 adult children and have 5 precious grandchildren. My hobbies are shopping and reading. I hope all my students will share a love for reading that I have always had.

The end of this year will be year 20 for me as a teacher! YIPPEE! I have been a reading specialist for 15 of those years, so as you can probably guess, I LOVE READING. I received my BS in Elementary Education from Campbell University, and my Master’s in Reading Education at UNC at Wilmington. I am married to Joe, and we have one daughter, Rylan who is away at Campbell for her freshman year at college. (Go Camels!) I am ready to soar into another great year here at our brand new beautiful, Vandora Springs School as we all work together to make it the best eagle’s nest ever!
