Mr. Will Lamb, Asst. Principal
I am deeply grateful and honored to serve as an assistant principal at Beaverdam. As a leader, my goal is to create a safe, grace-filled space where each person is loved, valued, listened to, and empowered to grow. I want all to experience opportunities for joy, significance, and belonging here at Beaverdam.
This is my tenth year serving in public education in North Carolina. I served the first 8.5 years in Durham Public Schools as a Spanish teacher, elementary classroom teacher, and magnet coordinator at Club Blvd. Humanities Magnet School, principal resident at Merrick-Moore Elementary School, and assistant principal at E.K. Powe Elementary School. Over the last year, I have served as an assistant principal at Northwoods Elementary School in Cary and as a customer success manager for an education technology company.
I am a fourth generation educator. I grew up in Asheboro, NC, and came to the RDU area for college at UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). I earned my Master of School Administration program from NC State University, and I am currently enrolled in a doctoral program there.
My wife, Elizabeth (a Wake County graduate), is a third grade teacher in Durham, and we are expecting our first child in March!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have, and follow me on Twitter at @MrWLamb. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure the growth and success of all our students, staff, and families at Beaverdam.
