Mrs. Stacey F. Weddle

I am the proud principal of River Bend Middle School which opened August 2017.  Most of my professional experience has been in middle school, special education, and administration.  I began in 1991 as a Special Education teacher at Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School.  I then moved to central office for thirteen years as an administrator in WCPSS's Special Education Services.  I returned to school administration at East Wake Middle School as Assistant Principal for three years and then moved to the Principalship at Wake Forest Middle School for six years.

I am married to a middle school administrator at Heritage Middle School and we will soon celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.  Together we have raised three amazing children who all graduated from Heritage High school.  Our oldest graduated in Musical Theatre at ECU.  Our middle and youngest are both at ECU, majoring in Accounting and Engineering, respectively.

My two favorite family members are Golden Retrievers/Black Lab mixes.  Abby and Roscoe are totally opposite in looks and personality while they keep our house safe, chaotic, and loud.  We also have a cat, Mew, but I'm not a fan. Recently, my oldest dropped off her special needs cat, Ellie, and I'm still not a fan.  The only felines I like are Tigers!

I love reading, knitting, cheering for anything LSU (especially football), and cooking favorite meals from my Cajun hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. Geaux Tigers!
