We need you! The time of year has arrived to begin seeking new volunteers for the Heritage Elementary School PTA Board. We have many positions that need to be filled for the upcoming year including President and Vice President. Our current board members intend to be active participants within the PTA next year and will support all new board members as they step into their roles. Please consider volunteering your time and completing the form below. We can’t do it without you and appreciate all of the amazing parents, grandparents, and family members who support our school!

Classroom Environments for the 24-25 School Year

We are busy working on class assignments for the 24-25 school year.  Parents are invited to submit a letter describing the classroom environment that is best for your child.  Please do not use teacher names as there may be movement among our staff. All letters are due to Mrs. Harmon by April 12th.  You may email (aharmon@wcpss.net) or drop it off in the office.

Student Cell Phones and Smart Watches

As a reminder, students are permitted to have cell phones at school, however, they are to remain in their book bags at all times. Students should not have the cell phone on their person or out during the school day.  If students have a Smart watch or Gizmo, it is preferred they do not wear it to school. If they do wear it they are NOT to use the communication capabilities or use it to take pictures or video during the school day. If you need to communicate with your student during the school day regarding a change in transportation, please contact the teacher directly or the front office.
