Track Change Requests for 2024-2025
Each year, things may present themselves where your family needs to consider your child being on a different track from their current track. If you need to request a track change, please do so by completing THIS FORM. Paper copies of the track change form will also be sent home in Monday folders if you prefer to complete it and return it to school. Please reach out to our data manager Mary Canny at mcanny@wcpss.net or 919.562.6000 with any questions. No track change requests will be accepted after 2/16/2024. All requests will be reviewed when we begin creating classes for next year and families will be notified of whether or not their request is approved.
Universal PreK Applications
Do you have a child who will be 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2024 and is a Wake County resident? If so, consider applying for Wake Pre-K through the Universal Application. The Wake Pre-K application allows consideration for free, safe, and fun Pre-K program options. Enrollment in the WCPSS Title I Pre-K program is based on the academic need of the child. NC Pre-K and Head Start are prioritized for families with low incomes and other related eligibility requirements. When your application is processed, your child will be considered for the program that best matches your family based on the criteria. Applications are not first come, first served. The deadline to apply is June 16. Apply today!
