Walk to School Day

Track 1 & 3 families, this exciting day is on Wednesday, October 4th.  Please return the permission slip sent home in Monday folders!

On the morning of Oct. 4th, the schedule will be as follows:

  • Bus riders will be dropped off at the middle school.  Our staff will meet students there and escort them to HES.  Those eating breakfast will be escorted to the cafeteria.

  • Carpoolers will be encouraged to be dropped off at Smith Creek Soccer Center beginning at 7:55am. Our staff will greet students at the soccer fields and escort them to HES.  Parents are strongly encouraged to walk with their students if possible. Walkers from Smith Creek will begin walking at 8:15am.

  • Remaining at School - We will have staff at the front entrance for any student not participating as well as in the cafeteria for breakfast and in the main office for medication and regular duties.
