We cannot say it loudly enough- thank you to everyone!!! Last week, our staff members were showered with thank you notes, gifts, and acts of kindness. We appreciate the love from our community and know it is one of the main reasons that Scotts Ridge is such a special place. Additionally, we appreciate our incredible PTA for organizing the themes for each day and for delivering free lunches to our crew on Friday.

Field Day 2025

Our annual Field Day is
THIS Friday, May 16th. We know that all of our students are looking forward to this incredibly fun day! It is very important that our sailors are all dressed safely for the day. Please see the list of approved shoes, clothing, and recommended items

Here is the flyer that went home on Friday, April 25th. Almost all of our volunteer positions have been filled! Thank you so much to everyone that will be helping on that day. If you are signed up, please ensure that you are registered as a WCPSS volunteer.

Last Spirit Night
May 20
Our last Spirit Night Fundraiser will be at FRESH Local Ice Cream in downtown Apex. A portion of the proceeds made between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm will be returned to the SRE PTA!
PTA General Meeting
May 21
There will be a general meeting on Wednesday, May 21st from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. This will be the past PTA meeting of the school year and it will be virtual. All are welcome!

AMS Band Events
EVENT #1- Apex Middle School Band Presents: The Rhythms of Spring. This spring band concert series will be on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:00 PM at Apex High. The address is 1501 Laura Duncan Road, Apex, NC 27502.
EVENT #2- Picnic on the Patio. Bring your chairs, blankets, snacks, and join us for a picture-perfect afternoon with music, laughter, and a delightful picnic in the park. Thursday, May 29th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. The address is 400 East Moore Street, Apex, NC 27502. Buster's ice cream will be available for purchase during the event.
