Panorama Family Survey

Right now!

 

Families, we have some homework for you! Don't worry, you don't have to study for it, and it won't take long, we promise. It is estimated that the survey can be filled out in 7 minutes or less.

 

On Friday, your students received a flyer in their take-home folder. On that flyer you will find some information about the Panorama Family Survey. Our goal is to have over 50% of our families go ahead and fill that survey out right now!

 

To start the survey, click here, or use the QR code on the flyer. Select your language of preference at the top, then select Scotts Ridge Elementary from the dropdown menu. 
 
This survey is very important; our goal this year is to beat our 2023 completion and have 80% participation by the end of April. Our admin intern, Mr. Ro, is overseeing the survey this year; please feel free to reach out to him if you have any questions <mrosenberg@wcpss.net>

 

 

Last Call for Raffle Baskets

April 14

 

Please have your classroom basket turned into the front office by THIS Monday, April 14th.

 

Students will place raffle tickets in baskets during school the week before the Spring Fling. The PTA gives EVERY student 5 tickets; parents will have the option to purchase more at the Spring Fling.

 

A big THANK YOU to all of our class parents and everyone who has donated. You are helping to make this event a huge success!

 
 

2024-2025 Yearbook Sales

by April 15

 
Alright, this is the last call for yearbooks! The final yearbook purchase deadline is THIS Tuesday, April 15th. Purchased yearbooks will be distributed in May 2025.
 
Please note that while school portraits are through Lifetouch, yearbooks will still be purchased through Strawbridge. Yearbooks can be purchased online only at www.strawbridge.net using the online code: YB31508.

Data Manager Appreciation Day

We are incredibly grateful for our Data Manager, Staci Alvarez! Please go out of your way to thank Ms. Staci for all that she does on Wednesday, April 16th. She oversees registration, school attendance, and so much more; THANK YOU!!

 
 

Spring Picture Day

April 16

 

Set an alarm or reminder of your phone; remind your students to dress their best on Wednesday, April 16th for Spring Pictures! Thank you so much to all of our volunteers for filling up our sign-up sheet! Here is the link one more time in case you need to see the slot that you signed up for: Spring Picture Day Volunteers.

 

All original orders for Spring Pictures or the Class Photo made online will be credited to the new spring picture day.

Auction Site Goes Live

April 17

 
The silent auction site will go live on Thursday, April 17th and will remain open through Thursday, April 24th (Spring Fling). We will share the link and details on some of the great items up for bid next week. Winners will be notified after it closes.   

 

 

Fleet Week Themes

Starting April 21

 
Fleet Week is just around the corner. We have Spring Fling on Thursday, April 24th (more information below) and themes each day! Most of the themes include an opportunity to dress up and are marked in green and with stars to make them stand out. Dressing up is optional! 
 
  • Mon 4/21 - **Character Day** (dress as your favorite book, movie, or game character)
  • Tue 4/22 - **Cruisin' and Groovin'** (dress for your favorite trip, vacation, or just be comfy)
  • Wed 4/23 - **Reverse Day** (students dress as teachers, teachers dress as students)
  • Thu 4/24 - Thankfulness Thursday
  • Fri 4/25 - **Dress for Success** (dress as nicely as you can, maybe even a future career)

 

**SPECIAL NOTE: per district policy, please ensure that any costumes/outfits that are worn to school do not include any sort of weapon or any full face masks. We want to have a great, fun week; following those policies will help all of our Sailors be and feel safe here at school! Thanks for the support.

Spring Fling!

It’s that time of year again: our spring fling is coming up on Thursday, April 24th and we can’t wait to see you all there! As always, we will have food trucks, games, LIVE raffle basket giveaway and more… further details will be coming soon.

 

Pizza will be available for purchase ahead of the event. This information will be sent out with raffle ticket information on April 17th!
