Morning Carpool Procedure

We go to great lengths to consider student safety in everything we do at school. Thank you for helping us keep morning carpool safe by following these simple steps:

  1. The first car in the carpool line will stop at the cone blocking the lane closest to the school in front of the main entrance.
  2. All other cars arriving for carpool will stop behind the first car. No cars should park in front of the cone mentioned above. 
  3. Families dropping students off early for safety patrol, chorus, or Morning Wave may do so only at 8:40 or later, but they may pull up in front of the main entrance, drop off and leave. Any families arriving once carpool has begun must wait in the carpool line to ensure student safety. No students should be let out from the outside lane because they would need to cross in front of cars that could start moving. 

 

SRE Feed the Kids Program

Your Scotts Ridge Elementary Student Services Team wants to make sure that all of our sailors have regular and continuous access to food resources. If you would like to receive food items from our "Feed the Kids" program or need other food resources, please take a moment to fill out this survey. Thank you!

Spirit Night 

We are excited to have our FIRST spirit night at FRESH downtown Apex location on September 30th come by and enjoy some ice cream between 5pm-9pm. Hope to see you there! 
 

Picture Day Volunteer Sign-Ups

We would love your help for our Fall picture day! Don't worry. . . We don't need you to take the pictures! Just come help direct children and be an extra set of hands for the Lifetouch photographers to help the day run as smoothly as possible.

GoPlaySave

Our GoPlaySave fundraiser deadline is TUESDAY, 9/24! We have not yet reached our goal, and there is still time to order. 

 

If you still haven’t turned in your orders or do not plan to purchase the book that was sent home with your child, please return it with the fundraising packet to your child’s teacher by Tuesday!  If you decide to keep the book sent home, please go to GoPlaySaveTriangle.com/SRES2025  to set up your child’s link to purchase your book with a credit card, or send in a check made out to Scotts Ridge PTA or $35 cash with your child in an envelope with their name, teacher and grade.

Visit our online store to place your order! Current stock is limited, but families can preorder Anchored in Apex tees through 9/27 for delivery in October. Walk and Bike to School Day

Walk and Bike to School day is coming up soon! On October 2nd, join your friends walking or biking to school! We hope to see as many families as possible walking.

We are working hard on filling all our chair positions and a huge thank you to everyone who has already filled out the volunteer form, but we still would LOVE more help! We are also still looking for one more board member, a VP of Communications. We'd love to chat if you are interested.

SRE Clothing Drive Benefitting Note In The Pocket

Please consider donating your family's gently used or new clothing and shoes to support Note in the Pocket. The SRE clothing drive will be from Monday September 23 - Friday September 27.  *They prefer donated items in a white kitchen trash bag. 
 
Many of us within Student Services and administration have had favorable experiences with Note in the Pocket. This organization is distinguished by its compassion and unwavering commitment to assisting those in need. We are excited to have the opportunity to contribute to our community with your support.💗 Please see Flyer for most need items and more information.
