Sailor Social

Thank you to all of the families who participated in our Sailor Social! The weather could not have been better! We hope that you took advantage of this opportunity to meet other school families. A special thank you to our PTA for organizing and all the staff members who helped make the night a success, including D.J. Mrs. Weber. Wasn't it awesome to see the improved landscaping on the fields, including new grass, trees, and mulch? The PTA even purchased additional picnic tables for the playgrounds that arrived just in time for use at the Sailor Social. Thank you, Mr. Langan, for putting all the tables together!

Join Us for Curriculum Nights This Week

Parents and guardians are invited to join their children's grade-level teachers to learn about curriculum and instruction at their child's grade level. Please leave children at home to the extent possible as the evening is geared toward adults. There are two sessions each night to allow parents/guardians to attend two sessions in case of siblings in the same grade range. If you have only one child in the grade range, you may attend the session of your choosing based on your schedule.

Grade K-2: Tuesday, September 19th

First session: 5:30-6:15 (End time adjusted.)

Second session: 6:30-7:15 (Beginning time adjusted.)

Grade 3-5: Wednesday, September 20th

First session: 5:30-6:15 (End time adjusted.)

Second session: 6:30-7:15 (Beginning time adjusted.)

Character Education Assemblies

This year, under the leadership of our amazing counselors, we will be holding monthly character education assemblies to help teach, encourage, and celebrate positive character traits. The first character trait that we will be celebrating is RESPONSIBILITY! Two students from each class will be recognized for demonstrating the positive character trait for the month at a grade-level assembly that will take place on each grade-level's extended special day. While we will not have room for all parents/guardians to join us, we will send out a special invitation to the parents/guardians of the students who will be recognized at each assembly. It will be hard to pick just two per class, but we can't wait to recognize our students for showing good character.
