Spring School Beautification

Spring School Beautification Day is Friday, May 19th, from 4:30-7:00 PM. Please pick up your children in carpool or have them ride the bus home like normal, and then join us at 4:30 to mulch, plant, weed, and more. We will spend most of the time in the 3-5 playground. Please bring water and any gardening equipment and supplies that you have – especially wheelbarrows!

 

Teacher Under Pressure Power Washing

A special thank you to Teacher Under Pressure Power Washing for volunteering to pressure wash our school sign at the main entrance from the road. It looks brand new now!

 

PTA Meeting

The last PTA meeting of the school year will be in the SRE media center on Wednesday, May 17th at 10am. If you are interested in joining the board next year, please reach out to sreptasec@gmail.com!

 

2023-2024 School Supply Pre-Orders

It may seem early, but you can skip the hassle and order your school supply kits for next year! We're working with 1st Day School Supplies again to preorder kits. They shop name-brand supplies using the exact supply lists requested by SRE teachers and ship them directly to your home in August. A portion of the sales will go back to SRE to fund programs at school. The SRE link is open now!

Fifth-Grade Sailing Up Ceremony

We will be celebrating our fifth-grade students who will be "sailing up" to sixth grade on June 8th from 1:00-2:30. Families are invited. Because of limited space and the importance of end-of-year bonding activities in class, we prefer that Scotts Ridge siblings stay in class. If you would like them to attend, please sign them out in the office.

 

Fifth-Grade Picnic

The fifth-grade picnic will be on Friday, June 9th, from 12:00-2:00. Fifth graders will be treated to pizza, chips, and a special sweet treat. There will also be a photo booth and games. Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered! If you haven't been contacted already, the PTA will be in touch shortly. Any parents who would like to sign their children out at the end of the picnic may do so with the teacher.   

 

Fifth-Grade Sailing Up Yard Signs

Thanks to all of the families that came to pick up their sign on Wednesday! We had a few families ask, so we wanted to mention that these are for ALL fifth-grade families. You did not need to preorder or pay extra for the signs; they are funded from the class fees collected in December. If you were unable to come this week, they will be available to pick up after the Sailing Up ceremony in June.
