Sailor Social Success!

Thank you to all the Scotts Ridge families and staff that joined us for this week's Sailor Social! We hope that you took this opportunity to gather with existing friends and meet some new ones . . . This goes for the students AND their families! Thank you, PTA, for organizing this great community building event!

4th and 5th Grade AIG Nomination Window is Open

AIG: Academically and Intellectually Gifted Services

Additional information regarding the AIG program can be found on the WCPSS AIG site.

A few reminders regarding the process:

  • A year must have passed since the last testing session. (Anyone tested in the spring of last year is not eligible.)

  • Students who are already in AIG do not need to retest in any subject area for which they are already eligible; once qualified, a student retains the AIG designation from year to year.

  • All nominations will be reviewed by the School Based AIG Committee.

  • The committee will recommend students who will go on for testing.

  • To submit a nomination, please email Ms. Costa at mcosta2@wcpss.net.

  • All Fall nominations are due to Ms. Costa by September 30, 2022.

  • All questions should be emailed to Ms. Costa at mcosta2@wcpss.net
