The screener test is scheduled for November 4th, 67th, and 8th starting at 9:30 AM. You can also email the AIG teacher Jessie Hollinger with any questions. (jhollinger@wcpss.net)
November is American Indian Heritage Month
November is National American Indian Heritage Month, which celebrates the contributions of American Indians and urges the people of the United States to learn more about American Indian cultures.

We are excited to recognize students during our Quarter One Awards Ceremonies! Students will be spotlighted for demonstrating our CARES/APLA characteristics (Responsive Classroom) as well as for Perfect Attendance. Students will receive four tickets for their scheduled ceremony. Our limited seating in the gym allows for only guests of students being recognized to attend. Halloween at GMHS
Garner Magnet High School is pleased to invite all students and their families to our Black Student Union's "Too Cute to Spook" event on October 30. This event is in its third year and serves as a community outreach event for the group to allow area families a safe and fun environment to do a little trick-or-treating. Our clubs band together to decorate the 2nd floor and have rooms set up for kids to come by and trick or treat. We also have games and activities for them while they are here. Please add this fun family event to your calendar!
Treasure Our Talent
PTA is pleased to host this year’s student talent exposition. Acts should be between 2-3 minutes and can include singing, dancing, juggling, magic, comedy, tumbling, or anything! Solo and group acts are welcome. Only acts that audition will be able to perform.
