Dear Bryan Road Elementary Families:
School Holiday
May 27th is the Memorial Day holiday. There will be no school for staff and students.
Lost and Found
All lost and found items will be located outside the front office June 3-7 from 8:00-4:00. Please visit the school to claim your child’s missing items. Unclaimed clothing will be donated to a local charity.
End of Year Media Reminders
Please review these reminders from Ms. Crystal Snyder, Media Coordinator:

May 24th was the last day to check out books from the media center.

All books need to be returned to the media center by June 7th.

Fifth Graders must return their devices to Bryan Road ES in order to be issued a device in Sixth Grade.

Rising Third through Fifth Grade students who do not need their Chromebook during the summer break may store their devices in the media center.
Snacks Needed
Please consider donating snacks to our Student Support Team for students who do not bring or have snacks. Snack options include: Peanut-free, granola bars, multi-grain bars, small popcorn bags, small pretzel bags, and small cheese cracker bags. Donations can be brought to the front office.
EOG Day - What to Expect
We are proud of the learning each student has engaged in this year and encourage our Third through Fifth graders to give their best effort for this year’s End-of-Grade assessments - to highlight their growth. Students and teachers have been preparing with students expecting the following conditions:

In all general administration classrooms, students will:

Access tests and answer questions online
-
Have 3 hours for the regular administration
-
3-minute rest breaks at 40 minute intervals
-
Pencils, working paper, and handheld/online calculator
-
Multiple choice and technology enhanced items for reading, math, and science (only for 5th Graders)

Self-selected restroom breaks
-
Access to snack items during the planned 3-minute breaks
-
Access to chewing gum during the assessment
-

In all classrooms with testing accommodations, students will receive the general administration conditions as well as assigned accommodations such as:

Extended time

More frequent breaks

Read aloud/Read aloud to self

Dictation to scribe
-
One-on-one or small group setting
-
Testing over multiple days
-
End-of-Grade Testing Schedule
All Third through Fifth Grade students will be participating in state assessments for reading and math with Fifth Grade students also participating in the state science assessment. Last Day of School
Wednesday, June 12th is the final day of school for students for the 2023-2024 traditional calendar. Please stay in communication with your child’s teacher for end of year celebration information unique for each grade level.
Moving Summer of 2024?
We are requesting that parents complete the 2024 Moving Over the Summer form for each student if your family will be moving to another school or district this summer. Our Data Manager will contact you to complete the withdrawal process from Bryan Road Elementary School.
