Bridges Families-

While this is not as personal a greeting as I would like, as a parent myself, I know it is important for you to learn about me as the new Director of Bridges. My name is Heather Boling. I started at Bridges on March 3rd. I transitioned to Bridges after 5 years of working as the WCPSS Director of School Psychology. I have been a WCPSS school psychologist for 15 years. Regardless of my role in education or the community, I have demonstrated a belief system of supporting the whole child. Prior to becoming a school psychologist, I have had experiences serving children and families as a Community Assistance Provider (CAP worker) in afterschool programs, in summer programs, and various community and volunteer efforts.

I recognize that strong collaborative teams that are driven by shared voice and shared vision can shift trajectories for our students. I hold true to the belief that all children can learn and that they should have equitable access to a quality education. From the start of my career in WCPSS working at the Bridges Program has been a dream that I hoped to pursue. I consider my service to the Bridges Community to be an honor. Part of that honor is working in collaboration with you to have clear communication systems so that our students can be successful.
