Happy Monday! April is a fun month at Parkside. Be on the lookout for more information about volunteering for field day, and our annual Family Fun Night!

 

Upcoming Events: 

Parent Panorama Survey

Please complete the WCPSS Panorama Survey if you have not already. surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family.  Track 1, 2, and 3 families should have received a slip of paper with a QR code on it. You can use the QR code to access the survey. Once you complete the survey, fill out the slip of paper and return it with your child(ren) and their name will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Please complete a survey for each of your students at Parkside.

Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey through May 16th.

 

Join Us for Family Fun Night – Friday, April 25th!

Mark your calendars! Our Family Fun Night is coming up on Friday, April 25th from 5:30–8:00 PM on the K–2 Playground.

This FREE event will be full of fun for the whole family—featuring inflatables, games, raffles, local vendors, and food trucks! It’s a great way to connect with our Parkside community and enjoy an evening outdoors.

Please note: This is not a drop-off event. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you live nearby, we encourage you to walk—parking will be limited.

Field Day

It's the best time of year- Field Day! PSES Field Day will be May 9 for tracks 2 & 4 and May 13 for Tracks 1 & 3. We are looking for awesome volunteers like YOU, to help make this day another success and fun day for our students! Be sure to read ALL information on the sign ups below. We appreciate you!

Parkside Family Virtual Triathlon & Fun Run!

Get ready to move, Parkside! We’re kicking off our first-ever Virtual Triathlon and Fun Run! From March 30–April 24, your family can complete 14 miles of activity — anything goes: walking, biking, soccer, dancing, or just having fun being active together! (Not tracking miles? Every 30 minutes of activity counts as 1 mile!)

Then, join us on April 25 at Parkside to finish strong with our Family Fun Run — the final mile of our 15-mile triathlon!

Spirit Rock

This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
