Happy Monday! There is a lot of new information in this week’s message. Be sure to read each section carefully and look for information about Saturday’s Weather Make-up Day, Spirit Day at Mad Splatter, Contact Verification Forms, Parkside’s First Virtual Triathlon, and so much more!

Saturday School Make-up Day is Saturday
Just a reminder: this Saturday, April 5th, is a snow make-up day for Tracks 1 and 3 only. School will run from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM, and students must stay the entire time to be counted present. Morning buses will run as usual, with afternoon buses running three hours earlier. There will be no after school care, no recess, and no lunch served—please send snacks with your child. Breakfast will be available. Be sure to let your child’s teacher know how they will be getting home.
April 10 – Spirit Day at Mad Splatter (Apex)
Join us for a colorful day at Mad Splatter! Choose a 2-hour paint session (10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, or 5pm) and enjoy canvas painting, pottery painting, or the splatter room experience. Just $10 per painter (pottery pieces priced separately). Fun for all ages! To sign up click here.

A huge thank you to our amazing Parkside community for making our Read Across America Week Book Drive a big success! Thanks to your generosity, we collected and donated over 2,000 books to share the love of reading with others — what an incredible impact!
Special shout-out to our 2nd grade superstars for donating the most books and winning the competition! Way to go!

Important: Contact Verification Forms
Contact Verification Forms are being sent home today with all Track 1, 2, and 3 students. Please review the information carefully, update any incorrect or missing details, and return the form by Monday, April 7.
Accurate information is essential as the district transitions from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus.
Track 4 families will receive their forms when they return and will have one week to complete and return them.
Parkside Family Virtual Triathlon & Fun Run!
Get ready to move, Parkside! We’re kicking off our first-ever Virtual Triathlon and Fun Run! From March 30–April 24, your family can complete 14 miles of activity — anything goes: walking, biking, soccer, dancing, or just having fun being active together! (Not tracking miles? Every 30 minutes of activity counts as 1 mile!)
Then, join us on April 25 at Parkside to finish strong with our Family Fun Run — the final mile of our 15-mile triathlon!

Spirit Rock
This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
