Track 1 and 3 Booster Fun Run Make Up is TOMORROW!
Due to the weather, we had to cancel the Fun Run for Tracks 1 and 3. However, students participated in 30 minutes of physical activity using a Booster Dance Fit video on their originally scheduled run day. The good news is that the Booster Team will return on December 3rd for a Fun Run Make-Up Day! The run times for each grade level will remain the same, and we encourage families to come out and cheer on their runners!
We’re also getting closer to our fundraising goal of $20,000! It’s not too late to submit your donations. We have currently raised over $16,000 towards our goal. If we reach this goal, Mr. Hudson and Mr. Helfrich will spend the night at Parkside! Don’t forget to visit mybooster.com to register your student and help us reach the finish line.

Parkside’s Positivity Project (P2) Winter Spirit Week

This year, we’re combining the fun of Spirit Week with the meaningful character traits of the Positivity Project to inspire positivity, reflection, and school-wide connection. Ms. Daley’s dedication, creativity, and passion for teaching inspire her students every day. She goes above and beyond to create a classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
Ms. Chanda’s hard work, kindness, and commitment to our school community make a tremendous impact on both students and staff. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile do not go unnoticed.

Make Up School Work for Unexcused Absences
We understand that sometimes absences may be unavoidable. However, please note that teachers are not required to provide schoolwork for unexcused absences, including those that are for extended periods of time. While we encourage students to stay caught up with their learning, our teachers focus on in-class instruction and cannot guarantee make-up work for unexcused time away from school.
Absentee Notes
When your child is absent, please be sure that you are sending in notes or emails to the teacher so that they can code reasons for absences correctly in PowerSchools. If there is ever a discrepancy please reach out to us so we can help you! Also, please know we are required to send home official letters once students have six or ten unexcused absences.

Spirit Rock
This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
