Boosterthon Is Underway!
Get ready, Parkside families! Our Boosterthon fundraiser has kicked off for tracks 2 and 4 and on November 12, Boosterthon kicks off for tracks 1 and 3! This year’s goal is to raise $20,000 to support our cultural arts programs and PTA events. All students will participate, and everyone can help out by sharing or giving. Let's come together to make this Fun Run a huge success! If we meet our fundraising goal, Mr. Hudson and Mr. Helfrich will spend the night at Parkside. Join Us At Handels For Our Next Spirit Night
Join us for our next Spirit Night on November 11 at Handel's! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some treats, connect with other families, and support our school. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go directly to Parkside, so bring your family and friends and help make it a fantastic night!

No Heely’s Please
For the safety of all students, we kindly ask that Heelys (shoes with wheels) not be worn to school. These shoes can present safety risks, particularly in busy hallways and on stairs. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Absentee Notes
When your child is absent, please be sure that you are sending in notes or emails to the teacher so that they can code reasons for absences correctly in PowerSchools. If there is ever a discrepancy please reach out to us so we can help you! Also, please know we are required to send home official letters once students have six or ten unexcused absences.

Keeping Students Safe on the Internet
Thank you so much to all of you as parents who are closely monitoring your children’s use of devices on the internet and social media. The negative impact that unsupervised use has on young children is a growing concern. Be sure to check out the WCPSS Resource Page. If you scroll down under the main photo, you will see a computer labeled Digital Resources. There is a variety of context that may be helpful for you on digital safety and resources for parents. On this page, you'll find documentation on how parents can set up filtering on school devices (Digital Resources > Online Safety at School > Parental Control Solutions).
Spirit Rock
This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
