Our next PTA sponsored Spirit Night is on Sunday, October 6 at Warrior Tech from 5:00 to 6:30. Sign up early by following this link.

 

Volunteer Registration - Renewal Window Closes Today!

As a valued member of our volunteer community, we would like you to renew your volunteer status for the 2024-2025 school year with WCPSS. The renewal window closes 10/01/2024.

 

To continue volunteering with us in the thischool year:

•  Log into your MyVolunteer account at https://myvolunteer.com/wcpss/volunteer/renew-account

•  Verify and update any contact information, if needed.

•  Change or add new schools, if needed.

October 8th Bike Helmet Give Away

We care deeply about the safety of all our students. Wearing a bike helmet is a simple but essential step to protect your child when biking or riding their scooter. Helmets significantly reduce the risk of head injuries and can save lives. We are partnering with Morrisville PD to provide bike helmets to students who need them. If you would like your child to receive a free bike helmet, please fill out this form. Please fill out a form for each child. Helmets are being given to current Parkside students only. Bike helmets will be available for pick up from 3:45 to 4:30 outside the main entrance to the school. 

 

Please remind your child to wear their helmet every time they ride—it’s a small habit that makes a big difference in keeping them safe.

 

Walk and Roll to School Day is October 9th

National Walk and Roll to School Day is October 9th. Join us at either the Harris Teeter parking lot; Madison Heights Way or Breckenridge Swim & Tennis Club; Redwood Park Drive as we Walk and Roll to school together! For more information check out this flier. 

 

Trunk or Treat and Movie Night are Coming!

One of our favorite events of the year is Trunk or Treat and Movie Night. Click on the link to preorder pizza from Papa Johns.

Spirit Rock 

This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
