Parkside Beautification Day
We've got an exciting event coming up: School Beautification Day on March 23! It's a chance for us to roll up our sleeves and spruce up our school grounds.
We'd love for you to be a part of this fun day by volunteering your time. We'll be doing all sorts of things like gardening, painting, and tidying up. No experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!

School Supply Kits For The 2024-2025 School Year
School supply kits for the 2024-2025 school year are on sale now until 5/31! Kits will be delivered directly to your door in late June/early July.

My School Bucks Update on Fees
Recently, School Bucks sent a message to families that use the School Bucks app. The message indicated that every time you add funds to your School Buck Account you will be charged $3.25 now instead of $2.75 that was being charged.
If you want to avoid these fees, please just have your child bring in cash or check to the cafeteria to add to your child’s lunch account at our school. You do not have to use the School Bucks Lunch Accounts App.
STEM Night Volunteers Needed!
Save the date for STEM Night on 3/28! We are currently looking for parent volunteers who would like to help run experiments with the kids. Each experiment table will have 2 teen helpers from the Cary Teen Council. Please consider signing up if you're able!

We had an outstanding cultural arts performance today featuring Baba Bomani. His program titled: Learn the ABC’s all the way to The Writing Process was a hit. Thank you to the Parkside PTA and the United Arts Council for sponsoring the program.
Snack Donations Needed
As we quickly move into the second semester, we're reaching out to our wonderful parent community to request snack donations. Your support in providing nutritious and delicious snacks will go a long way in ensuring our students who need a snack have the energy they need. Please drop off your donations at the main office. Thank you so much for your ongoing support! If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Spirit Rock
This school year the PTA is offering families the opportunity to paint our Spirit Rock! For $25 you can paint a birthday message to your child, congratulations on an achievement, good luck on a sporting event - anything you can think of. Payment is due at time of reservation.
