Families can apply for multiple programs with one application: NC ePASS. This application is available in many languages and interpreters are available to assist families in completing the application if needed. Tournament of Attendance
Your child’s attendance at school matters. It is important that your child is at school each day for the entirety of the instructional day. When students arrive at school late or leave early, they miss valuable instructional time that supports their learning and growth.
To encourage student attendance, we are starting our tournament of attendance. The grade level with the highest attendance percentage at the end of each month will earn a celebration. We will kick the Tournament of Attendance off on February 1, 2025. So far, 4th Grade is in the lead with the highest attendance percentage.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration
Families can apply in person at one of four events to be held this spring. Participants also can receive a free screening to assess your child's developmental and academic abilities. Children must be 4 by Aug. 31 and live in Wake County to qualify. See full schedule and details. Families can apply online anytime at wakesmartstart.org
If you have a child who needs to be registered for Kindergarten, you can find all information for registration here.
Schoolwide Expectations
At Creech Road Elementary School, we expect all our students to R.O.A.R.
Respect- Treat others the way you want to be treated
Operate with Safety- Follow directions and keep hands/feet to yourself
Actively Participate- Ask and answer questions.
Responsibility- Be on task, complete work, look at and listen to the speaker
Please speak with your child about our school wide expectations and how they can show them each and everyday.
Please remind your child that cell phones are not to be used at school. Here are our procedures outlining cell phones in school.
Transportation Changes
Teachers have documented each student's normal mode of transportation (bus/carpool/van rider), changes to this method of transportation must be made in writing and sent via email to creechroadofficestaff@wcpss.net. For safety reasons, the sooner we are notified, the better.
We look forward to a great week of growth and learning as we continue to race to success. Thank you for your support, and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Yours in Partnership,
Dr. Ralph Chew, Principal
