About Me: My name is Morgan Cheney. I am from a small university town, Cedar City, Utah. Cedar City is very close to Zion National Park and home to the renowned Utah Shakespearean Festival. I recently graduated from Southern Utah University with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in English Literature.

I am the oldest of seven children, five being boys. I absolutely love playing, watching, and coaching sports. I have played basketball, soccer, softball, and football. I have ran track, and thrown javelin, shot-put, and discus. I have coached and officiated youth and adult basketball. While at SUU I was the head manager for the women’s basketball team. Recently I have enjoyed playing pickleball! I also love being outdoors and enjoy hiking and traveling. I also have the cutest Cavatzu, Lemon, which I absolutely adore!

This is my fourth year teaching at Creech Road, and I’m very excited. I was hired as a third grade teacher in Wake County, North Carolina in 2022 - about 2,256 miles from where I have lived all my life! This year, I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade, which will be a new adventure! Let's Go Fourth Grade!

I also coach the First Tee program here at Creech and have restarted and directed our basketball program for the 24-25 school year!

I can hit a pickleball very hard (aiming might need some work). 

I have a great love of knowledge and love to share with young minds!
