My name is Amelia Morton. This is my 5th year as a 1st Grade teacher at Baileywick and my 8th year as an educator. I have taught grades K-1. I am a graduate of ECU…Go Pirates! I have my bachelors in Elementary Education with a special in Reading grades K-12. I love to read and spend my free time at the beach relaxing with a good book. I just married my husband, Jonathan, in October and am enjoying the newlywed life with him and our 3 pets. We have 2 cats, Stevie and Penny, and a puppy named Leo. This year, I hope to share my love of reading with my students and to create a safe, fun environment for all to learn. I’m excited for another great year at Baileywick and can’t wait to learn and grow alongside my students!
