• Principal's Message

My staff and I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit Beaverdam Elementary School website, “Home of the Beavers”. A student’s elementary years are extremely important and exciting. This is a special time in which the Beaverdam Elementary staff, families and community members will come together to serve and support every student in their unique needs, gifts and talents. Our school culture will focus on providing a challenging and engaging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement, which in addition, will allow students to be collaborative, creative, effective communicators and critical thinkers. We must instill in each of our children the excitement that comes with learning and the many opportunities that life can afford them, as they become successful citizens. At Beaverdam Elementary, the bar will be set high and academics will be aligned with the Common Core Standards. Each of our teachers and teacher assistants are highly qualified and committed to serving all perspectives of each student, academically, socially and physically.

Beaverdam Elementary will be a great place to learn and grow! With the collaboration of our staff, school community and business partners, we will make great things happen at our school. I would like to invite you to get involved at Beaverdam Elementary School. You can do so by volunteering, joining our PTA or PTA Board. Volunteers will be invited to assist in the media center, classrooms, on field trips, etc. PTA Board Committee members will be needed to create and assist with fundraiser and beautification projects, select cultural art programs to enhance our students’ learning opportunities, assist with field day activities, various school events, etc. Your involvement can make a positive impact on our students, school goals and expectations.

The Beaverdam Elementary staff is thankful for the opportunity to educate your child(ren). With your support and partnership, we can inspire, educate and prepare innovative thinkers and confident learners for life in the 21st century. We look forward to building a strong school community, which supports teaching and learning.
