Office Hours / Carpool Tags

Baucom Elementary will be moving out of the Woods Creek campus this Thursday and Friday.   There will be contractors in the building starting June 17th to make small repairs, touch up paint, and to reset furniture throughout the school.  The school staff will be able to move into their classrooms on June 28th.   Woods Creek will open the front office for families to pick up carpool tags June 19th - June 27th between 9AM - 3PM.  Carpool tags and front office support will also be available at open houses on July 3rd and July 26th.  We are offering this additional option for families that would like to avoid possible lines. 

PTA

We are proud to announce that the Woods Creek PTA was officially formed on May 21st.  Our PTA officers are listed below, and they are excited to get to work building a strong foundation and PTA that supports the connection between families and the school.   PTA membership is $15 per person, or $25 for a family membership. The PTA will be available at Open House.

Parent Resources

Student supply lists have been posted to the school website. Parents are encouraged to bring student supplies to our open house events on July 3rd and July 26th.   We have also included the student parent handbook for families to review at their leisure.   We will continue to add information, such as bus routes, as it becomes available.   https://bit.ly/WCESParentResources

Bus routes and ridership information

Once routes are posted, families will be able to view detailed stop and route information in Home Base/ PowerSchool. Please see the following:

• AP lists will be available to schools on Wednesday, June 19. This is the same day routes will be posted on the internet.

• Families will receive communication via SchoolMessenger on Tuesday, June 18, informing them bus routes will be posted on the following day.

• On Thursday, June 20, families will receive a communication via SchoolMessenger providing bus route information, including scheduled arrival times specific to their student.

The Kraft Family YMCA is excited to offer Before and After School programs on-site at Woods Creek Elementary school.  The school programs include a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, active games, plenty of outside time, character development, and positive role models.
