Title I
Creech Road Elementary School is a Title I school. This means that we receive federal funding for our students and families who receive benefits like SNAP, etc. You should have received a Home-School Compact last week in your child’s take home folder. You can also provide us feedback on our Family Engagement Policy via this link. All of the Title I forms can be found on our website wcpss.net/creechroades.
Carpool
Our goal is to have the carpool line complete by 4:15 p.m. If you arrive after the cones have been taken inside, please park in the carpool lane, grab your Carpool Hang Tag or photo ID, and walk to the Front Office Door to pick your child up. Please do not park in the bus loop, as we still have buses arriving after 4:15pm.
Transportation Changes
Teachers have documented each student's normal mode of transportation (bus/carpool/van rider), changes to this method of transportation must be made in writing and sent via email to Creechroadofficestaff@wcpss.net. For safety reasons, the sooner we are notified, the better.

Kindergarten Health Assessments and Immunization Records
North Carolina law requires that every child in the state be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough (pertussis), poliomyelitis, red measles (rubeola), rubella, and hepatitis B. All students entering school must present proof within 30 calendar days of their first day of attendance that immunizations are complete. The law also requires that a child who received measles (rubeola) vaccine before one year of age must receive a second measles immunization after he/she has reached the first birthday.
If documentation is not provided to the school within the first 30 days of attendance, the student is suspended from school on the 31st day.
Parents of kindergarten children must provide a completed Kindergarten Health Assessment form within the first 30 days of school. If documentation is not provided to the school within the first 30 days of attendance, the student is suspended from school on the 31st day.
We look forward to another great week of growth and learning as we continue to race to success. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Yours in Partnership,
Dr. Ralph Chew, Principal
