Project LIT Book Club
What is Project LIT?
Project Lit is a national LITeracy movement that empowers students as readers and leaders through the reading and discussion of culturally relevant books. Teachers and students are part of the Project Lit community and are dedicated to promoting a love of reading in their schools and communities. The books on the Project Lit book list tackle tough topics and align perfectly with the adolescent experience. Join the ARMS chapter!! Complete the interest form.
Meeting DatesThis year we will be taking part in the monthly book choices made by the nationwide ProjectLIT community. Each month we will have a kickoff meeting to introduce the author and book and a meeting at the end of the month to discuss the book as a group. Opportunities to participate in conversations with students across the county and country will also be offerred. Attendance at every meeting is not required to be a part of the club. Join for the novels that interest you. Meetings will take place on the first and last Wednesdays during Ridge Time.
