Gifted and Talented
The Gifted & Talented program is rooted in the belief that every student has gifts and talents to be valued and nurtured. Students explore a wide variety of subjects that develop strengths and interests.  
Unique Offerings
Fencing, Genetics, Swing Dance, Debate, Jazz Band, and Robotics are just some of our unique offerings.

    Ligon is excited to be participating in the Positivity Project this year.

    Congratulations to Ligon's Art Club, who competed in Sparkcon's Street painting festival. Only three middle schools were recognized and Ligon took home the Best in Show award for Creativity.

  • 7th Grade Field Trip:  Payment for the field trip is due by September 22.  We are still in need of parent chaperones.  If you are interested in chaperoning, please go to any Wake County School as soon as possible to register as a volunteer.  Please let your child's language arts teacher know if you are interested in chaperoning.
