Jump Rope for Heart 
Thank you for your support of the Jump Rope for Heart Program!  Jump Rope for Heart packets due Tuesday, February 21The Jump Rope for Heart assembly will be Friday the 24th at 3pm.
 

Science Expo at Baileywick

Science Expo Projects should be turned in on February 22nd by 3pm at the gym. Science Expo Family Night will be February 23rd from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.  Pizza and drinks for Dinner will be available for purchase in the cafeteria. Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration begins January 5 for the 2017-2018 school year. Children must turn 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2017. On January 5, parents can register from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Single Subject Acceleration

Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of assigning a student to a higher-grade level than is typical, given the student's age, for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities.

SSA is an accelerative practice that allows students to show mastery of the content of an elementary or middle school course without having taken the course. A parent may nominate his/her child to skip a grade level of content in either Language Arts OR Mathematics. 

Parent meetings start Monday, February 13 at Durant Middle School Auditorium from 6:00-7:00pm. By visiting the link below you can see additional dates, times, and places for parent meetings. Parents interested in the SSA program are strongly encouraged to attend one of the following sessions.
