We need your help: Families, please consider joining us on September 30th from 8-12 for our annual Green Apple Day of service. Any amount of time you can come during this fun Saturday morning is greatly appreciated, we will be sprucing up the gardens around the school campus, pressure washing the greenhouse, building benches for the outdoor classroom and installing a new cooling system in the greenhouse. Wake County Public School System will offer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. The PSAT is a standardized, multiple-choice test that includes three sections: critical reading, mathematics and writing. The test provides practice for the SAT and offers insight for advising and counseling students.
Students who are eligible to take the PSAT must have completed Math 1.
Deadline to register for the PSAT test is September 20. Students must register by the deadline to be allowed to take the PSAT. Carnage GT/AIG Basics Magnet Middle School will serve as a host site. There is an administration fee of $16 must be paid via the Online School Payments (OSP) Portal on or before September 20, 2017.
**We will be unable to accommodate students who attempt to register after the deadline.

The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS), has selected EL Education’s open source Language Arts Curriculum for a districtwide three-year adoption that will begin with Grades 3 and 6 in the 2017-18 school year.

North Carolina law now requires Tdap and Meningococcl vaccines for entry into 7th grade.
Please review the flyer below for "what you need to do" and where to get these vaccines. Immunization documentation can be submitted to the main office at anytime. You do not have to wait until next school year to submit your documentation.
