  • Expeditionary Learning


    The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS), has selected EL Education’s open source Language Arts Curriculum for a districtwide three-year adoption that will begin with Grades 3 and 6 in the 2017-18 school year.

  • The 2017-18 School Year is Almost Here


    All rising 6th grade students are invited to participate in our sixth grade Academy on Wednesday, August 9th from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. Students should arrive and gather in the cafeteria at 7:30 am. We will have a brief powerpoint presentation for parents at 8 am in the auditorium and then parents should leave and return at 12 pm. Please send a bag lunch for your child, our cafeteria is closed and there is no opportunity to purchase a lunch. Student agendas will be available to purchase for $6.00, please send money with your child.  The PTSA will be on site selling Carnage merchandise and memberships. The powerpoint presentation  is also available to view under the academics tab / grade level/ 6th grade.


    Parents of rising 7th graders, please note that your child will need their Tdap and meningococcal vaccines for entry into 7th grade.


    Schedules will not be finalized until mid August.  All schedules are subject to change between now and that time.  They are a work in progress. Our Schedule Pick Up Day / Meet the Teacher for 6th grade will be Thursday, August 24th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm and 7th & 8th grade may pick up schedules on Friday, August 25th from 1:00 pm to 3 pm.  Student agendas will be available for purchase on both dates.


    Fall sport tryouts begin Wednesday, August 30th.  Please view the updated eligibility requirements under the athletics tab.  All participants must have a completed physical and Athletic Participation Form.

  • Parents of Rising 7th Graders

    Your child will need more vaccines!

    North Carolina law now requires Tdap and Meningococcl vaccines for entry into 7th grade.

    Please review the flyer below for "what you need to do" and where to get these vaccines.  Immunization documentation can be submitted to the main office at anytime.  You do not have to wait until next school year to submit your documentation.

  • SSA Nomination & Testing Wndow

    The SSA Nomination window is April 6, 2017 thru April 26, 2017.  The Testing window is May 4, 2017 through May 10, 2017.  For more information about Single Subject Acceleration and parent sessions, click on academic tab and Single Subject Acceleration.
