Schedules will be mailed to students the week of August 8. In order to protect instructional time, all students will have the opportunity to pick up parking passes, off-campus lunch passes, locker assignments, and to make schedule changes before the first day of school. These tasks must be done on Monday, August 15 or Tuesday, August 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Student Services. Freshman can request schedule changes at Freshman Orientation.
Extensive time was spent developing a master schedule that provides the best educational opportunities for our students. Schedule changes have serious effects on staffing, class sizes and academic programs and will be made with administration approval on August 15 and August 16 only. Administrators and counselors will be available on Thursday, August 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to address emergency schedule issues only! No schedules will be changed on or after August 29. If a course is dropped after the 10th day of the semester, the course will appear on the transcript as WF (Withdraw Failing).
The following reasons are NOT considered appropriate reasons for schedule changes and will not be honored:
Dropping or adding a course because you changed your mind.
Block (class period) preference.
