Student transportation information can now be found in one single location, Home Base, also known as Powerschool. In order to provide the highest level of customer service to our families we are asking those of you who do not yet have a Powerschool account to stop by the school office to complete the necessary form. You can find more information at www.wcpss.net/student-information. Once you have a Powerschool account, look for the transportation tab to see your student’s transportation status and type. If your student is a bus rider, stop and route information is also provided.
Attention Senoirs: If you did not pick-up your Cap and Gown orders this week, you may do so at the Main Office. Any remaining balance due will need to be paid before pick-up.
Starting soon, our school will begin sharing general information via text messaging and email instead of an automated phone call. You will still receive automated phone calls from Dr. Hedrick, but only for urgent situations. Before we start this process, you will receive an opt-in message on the cell phone we have on record. Follow the steps to opt-in or you can simply opt-in to receive text messages by texting YES to the number 67587 now. We'll be sending a letter home with more information on how to opt-in to text messages or you can visit www.wcpss.net/schoolmessenger. To view the letter in English, click here. To view the letter in Spanish, click here.
Some students are talking about the miniseries "13 Reasons Why," dealing with a student's death by suicide. We do not recommend that your student watch the series. However, if you choose to watch it, here is some helpful information for healthy discussion about it.
There are two information sessions in May about upcoming changes in Extended Content Classes that will occur over the next four years.
