Mission and Vision

  • Wake Early College of Health and Sciences provides educational and work-based learning opportunities for students who will graduate ready to pursue a career in a health sciences field.

  • Weekly Announcements: 


    Attention prospective Key Club members: if you are interested in helping others through community service, this is the club for you!  We will hold our informational meeting next Wednesday 8/31 from 2:20-3:30 in the PHS Campus Student Lounge.  Help us kick off an exciting year!  

    Note that students are responsible for their own transportation at 3:30 as the Activity Buses are NOT yet running.  The next general meeting will be on September 14th; all students are welcome! 

    9th, 10th, and 11th grade students have the opportunity to take the PSAT on Saturday, October 15 at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School. The deadline for students to register for the PSAT test is September 6th. To register, students must contact Ms. Ingraham either in person or via email,, There is an administration fee of $15 that will be paid at WECHS in advance. For more information, please contact Ms. Ingraham or Ms. Lusher. Transportation is not provided. 


    The window for applying to volunteer with WakeMed will open again January 9 at 2:30 Follow Ms. Lusher's Google Classroom posts for additional opportunities. Email her for the link and code, 


    Families interesed in applying for WECHS in 17-18 can sign up for an information session with Ms. Scupbach. Go to Magnet Tours and Events in the Application Information section under Our School
