  • Debate Club

    Debate emphasizes critical thinking, effective communication, independent research and teamwork.  Join the Debate Club! It teaches skills that serve individuals well in school, the workplace, political life and in fulfilling their responsibilities as citizens of democratic societies. Once you learn how to debate, you are better able to critically examine the pronouncements of your political representatives and to make informed judgments about crucial issues.

  • Fitness Club

    Fitness Club is looking for individuals who are motivated or need motivation and a way to encourage yourself and others to get moving. This Walking Club is looking for individuals who wish to expand their workout group – and help many people improve their heart health.

  • HOSA

    HOSA - Health Occupations Student Association is not a small club.  HOSA is a powerful instructional tool committed to the development of the total person. Those who join recognize the importance of training far beyond the basic technical skills needed for entry into the healthcare field. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the healthcare community.

  • Key Club

    Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization whose goal is to teach leadership through helping. Key Club International is a part of the Kiwanis International family of service-leadership programs.

  • Muslim Students Association

    Muslim Students Association members continuously strive to be leaders by strengthening faith, knowledge and community. Students are invited to join to build upon the thrilling and unique WECHS experience, as well as in promoting the spirit of diversity and dialogue within the WECHS community.   • National Honor Society

    National Honor Society students may apply to NHS if they have a 3.1 unweighted GPA, 45 hours of service, and dedication to the NHS pillars.

  • Science Olympiad

    Science Olympiad hosts premiere science competitions in the nation, providing rigorous, standards-based challenges to nearly 6,400 teams in 50 states. Science Olympiad’s ever-changing event lineup provides a variety of career choices and exposure to practicing scientists and mentors.

  • Student Government Association

    Student Government Association is a group of students committed to representing the voice of the student body. This group believes that every student’s voice has the ability to make a meaningful impact and therefore is committed to collectively serving Wake Early College in amplifying their voice to represent our school.

  • World Cultures Club

    World Cultures Club is a group of students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in learning about other cultures of the world. We feature a different country or continent every month and members participate in activities involving this area. We eat authentic foods at every meeting and go to different restaurants or attend cultural festivals once a month. The club travels once a year to a different part of the world.  Come participate and join the fun!
