Happy Tuesday Explorers!  This is Principal Graf with important information regarding the events at school this week

First things is FINALLY here!  Our PTA Spring Carnival is only a few short days away!  Join us this Saturday from 11:00 am-3:00 p.m. for fun, food and fellowship!  We will have games, giveaways and tons of fun at the Spring Carnival!  This is a family event and drop offs will not be permitted.  All students must be accompanied by a parent. Want to help out?  There are still volunteer opportunities available.  Call the school or see the PTA website for additional information.

A big congratulations to ALL of the classes who earned 50 and 60 compass cards for honoring our school code of conduct as a class.  These classes were recognized with their photo being taken and a for 60 compass cards a cool popsicle treat from me!  Additionally, a big congratulations goes out to Ms. Bookman’s class for being the first to reach 100 compass cards! They are going to get a treat of a special guest.

Parents, next week at EGES is our Parents Are Connected Night!  We will serve snacks and have sessions on how to support your child with preparing for the EOG and EOY assessments.  This is going to be a critical night for you and your child.  Snacks will be served from 5:30-6:00 with learning stations and presentations from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

We are in the long haul parents.  Attending school every day and on time is critical to your child’s academic success!  Teachers are working hard to collaborate and plan engaging learning opportunities as we move towards the end of the school year.  Important dates will be sent out for classroom celebrations, the upcoming Kindergarten Orientation Session, Field Day, EOG dates and our 5th Grade Celebration.  The dates will also be posted on our school website.

As always, I thank you for being a part of the Explorer family.  Your support is critical to your child’s school success and when we partner together we can truly impact student achievement and school culture.  This information will be posted on the school website.  Please call the school with any questions.

Always Explorer Proud,

Mrs. Graf
