Banks Road Elementary School began in July of 2009 as a year-round school in the Wake County Public School System. Our goal is to create a positive and collaborative learning community where students are prepared for success in the 21st Century. We offer students high quality instruction, opportunities for advanced studies, creative exploration and extra-curricular activities in a nurturing educational setting. We look forward to working with you and helping to blaze a trail to success.

It has been a great day at Banks today and I want to share some information with you:

Tuesday, April 28th.
  • T3 Read to Achieve Camp(Week 2)
  • Case Benchmark T4 Math
  • T4 5th Grade Student Meeting for Middle School Prep 2:00- 3:00

 Wednesday April 29th

  •  T3 Read to Achieve Camp (Week 2)
  • Case Benchmark 5th Grade Science
  • Talent Show Dress Rehearsal 4:15-6:00

 Thursday, April 30th

  • T3 Read to Achieve Camp (Week 2)
  • T2 & T4 Spring Pictures
  • Talent Show 6:00-7:30
  • Our website is back up!  Thanks to Ms. Esposito, Ms. McCool, and Ms. Livengood for their work on the new website.  It looks great. 
  • We had a wonderful Bingo night on Tuesday evening.  The adults and students had a great time!  At this meeting the officers for the Banks Road PTA were also nominated.  

 Upcoming events:

·       May 16th Snow Make up day – School will dismiss at 12:45PM

·       May 30th Snow Make up day – School will be in session all day
