  • Important Information:

    EOG Testing Dates: End of Grade testing dates have been set for this school year. Timber Drive 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will take Reading EOG's on Monday, June 19, and Math EOG's on Tuesday June 20. Fifth graders will take their Science EOG on Thursday, June 22. Finally, select 3rd Graders will take the Read to Achieve Test on Friday, June 23. 

    Field Day Re-scheduled for Monday, May 15:  Due to the weather reports of 30-40% chance of rain throughout the day tomorrow, we are rescheduling Field Day for Monday, May 15th. K-2 & 3-5 previously communicated participation times will remain the same.

    Parent volunteers planning to assist on Monday do not need to contact the school. You are encouraged to report to the gym for instructions from Mr. McLaney at the times previously communicated.

    Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to ensure a fun and engaging time for students and their families.

    Kindergarten Registration: Families with rising Kindergarteners, if you have not done so already, please register your child as soon as possible. It is important for us to be able to plan appropriately for the 2017-2018 school year and getting all students registered will help us do that.     Single Subject Acceleration: For information about SSA, please click here: The nomination window for Timber Drive ES is open from May 5th to May 18th, 2017. 

    Homebase/Powerschool Parent Portal:  Timber Drive Parents, we are excited to announce that student transportation information can now be found in one single location, Home Base, also known as Powerschool. In order to provide the highest level of customer service to our families we are asking those of you who do not yet have a Powerschool account to stop by the school office to complete the necessary form. You can find more information at

    Once you have a Powerschool account, look for the transportation tab to see your student’s transportation status and type. If your student is a bus rider, stop and route information is also provided

    Kindergarten Orientation: Thursday, May 18, 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Parents of rising kindergarteners who have been assigned to Timber Drive ES for the 2017-2018 school year are invited to our Kindergarten Orientation on May 18. This is an information session for parents only. There will be another time for your child to meet his or her teacher prior to the school year. If you have any question, please call 919-773-9500.

    Dancefest: Friday, March 24 at 9:30 am. All families are invited! Dancefest will take place on the hardtop between the K/1st and 2nd/3rd Grade halls. Bring a lawn chair if you wish you to sit. It should last about an hour. Parking will open on the field/track at 8:45.

    Track-Out Fair Sponsored by the Timber Drive PTA on March 9th from 6:00 - 8:30!  For more information, visit:

    Spring Pictures Friday, March 10!  Spring class and individual pictures will be taken on Friday, March 10. Flyers went home in folders this week. Class pictures must be pre-paid. If you have any questions or need further information, please call the school.

    March 16, PTA Spirit Day at La Roma Pizza: Dine at La Roma Pizza on March 16, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and be sure to tell them you are with Timber Drive! A portion of the proceeds from this day will be donated to the Timber Drive PTA.
