2016-17 DRAFT Student Assignment Proposal:
WCPSS is expecting continued growth - with as many as 3000 new students in this school year alone. The district will be opening five schools next year, including those in our attendance area: Pleasant Grove Elementary and Pine Hollow Middle School, both near Brier Creek. In order to fill these new schools, address overcrowding in existing schools, align calendars, and create transportation efficiencies, WCPSS has proposed a plan to reassign students to different schools. For more information on the first draft of the 2016-17 Student Enrollment Proposal, including an address look-up tool and feedback forum, visit www.wcpss.net/newenrollmentplan
