 (Rising) Kindergarten Play Dates
Rising Kindergarten Families should join us for our Summer Kindergarten Play Dates.  The play dates are sponsored by the Hunter PTA and are intended to help students and families connect and begin to form relationships prior to the start of the school year.  Parents are expected to stay and supervise their child(ren,) and families are encouraged to bring water and sunscreen.  
• Saturday, July 16th – 10 am, Robert’s Park (1300 E Martin St, Raleigh, NC 27610)
Key Dates for the Upcoming School Year
  • Thursday, August 18th - Popsicles on the Playground, 2:00 - 3:30 (for all students NEW to Hunter)
  • Thursday, August 25th - Meet the Teacher (for all students in first through fifth grades) 
    • 1st and 2nd Grade Meet the Teacher is from 4:00 - 4:45 pm
    • 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades Meet the Teacher is from 5:15 - 6:00
    • Hunter PTA Family Skate Night, United Skates, 2901 Trawick Road, Raleigh, 27604, $1 Admission, $3.50 Skate Rental)
  • Monday, August 29th - First Day of School for Students in First through Fifth Grades
  • Monday, August 29th - Thursday, September 1st - Kindergarten Staggered Entry (Kindergarten Students will come for one assigned day)
  • Friday, September 2nd - Kindergarten Meet the Teacher, Drop in for a Visit 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • Tuesday, September 6th - First Day of School for Kindergarten Students
  • Wednesday, September 7th - Open House
    • Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades 6:00 - 7:17
    • PTA General Membership Meeting 6:45 - 7:15
    • Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade 6:45 - 8:00
