Board approves 2026-27 proposed budget
The proposal includes an increase of $25.3 million in local funding, as well as strategic spending reductions to balance the budget. It will be officially sent to the Wake County Board of Commissioners this week for consideration. A final county budget is expected to be approved on June 1. Learn more.

You’ve still got time to share your feedback through the 2026 Family Survey, and we’d love to hear from you! The results from the Family Survey help us strengthen our schools and enhance student experiences. Parents or guardians with more than one student enrolled at a school should only complete the survey for that school once. The survey will be open until this Friday, May 15. Take the Family Survey.
