Principal Message October 18, 2024

Dear Dragon Families,

As I write this newsletter, I’m enjoying the cool fall breeze with my porch door open, while the sounds of the local Friday night football game plays in the background—clear signs that fall has arrived!

I want to take a moment to recognize our DDMMS Student Council and World Language teachers for hosting an incredible fall dance and Día de los Muertos celebration. It was a huge success, and we were thrilled to see so many students participate—it may have been our largest turnout yet! And thank you to our AMAZING PTA who worked the concession stand.

And thank you to all those who donated to the NC HURRICANE HELENE DONATION DRIVE. We were about to fill over 20 buckets of supplies!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and I hope you take time to enjoy this beautiful fall weather!
