Dear Dragon Families,
This Thursday is our Curriculum Night. There will be an AIG meeting at 4:30pm and then Curriculum Night will begin at 5:00pm where you will follow your child’s schedule. It is always a great evening when we can open our doors and welcome our families onto campus. We hope this night will give families a glimpse of what it is like to be a student here at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School. INTERNATIONAL TRIP TO COSTA RICA – There is no better way to learn about the world than to travel it. Come to the information session on 9/26 at 7:00pm in the DDMMS Media Center (After Curriculum Night) to learn about this awesome opportunity to travel to Costa Rica. PTA – We had a great first PTA meeting this week. Please mark your calendar for October’s meeting, October 15.

Both youth and adult sizes are available.
All items will be shipped to the school. (There is no longer the option to ship directly to your home.) Orders will be delivered to the school around the end of October. We will deliver the items through your child's homeroom teacher.
Back to School BBQ: Friday, Sept 27
Our first teacher luncheon of the year will be Friday, Sept 27. We are treating our amazing staff to a Back to School BBQ. City Barbeque is donating the pulled pork and chicken, but we still need these items:
- chicken salad
- chips
- desserts
- fruit trays
- gift cards for our teacher raffle
- paper plates
- pimento cheese
- salads -- corn salad, potato salad, your family favorite BBQ side
- veggie tray
- watermelon
- cans of baked beans

PICTURE DAY – October 4, 2024 – Everyone will get a picture taken for PowerSchool and Yearbook. If you would like to order pictures: There will be a flyer coming home on September 30, 2024.
1. You can order online: Go to Strawbridge.net then here is the online code: FM448684
2. Fill out the flyer and have student bring back flyer and give to Strawbridge Representative when getting picture taken.
DRESS CODE REMINDER – The WCPSS Dress Code Policy was shared with students during our Dragon Chats. POLICY HERE We are seeing a lot students who are not abiding by the dress code, specifically with short-shorts - Students must wear clothing that covers their skin from chest to mid-thigh with opaque (non-see-through) fabric in front, back, and on the sides. Thank you.
